Jamaal A. Crone
MAR, M.Ed., LPC
After graduating from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary I went on to complete a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling at Cambridge College.
I work primarily from a Cognitive-Behavioral approach, which is a short-term, results-oriented method. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy into my work. Both are evidence-based treatments that are especially effective for depression and anxiety.
One of my specialties and passions is working with couples. I practice Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, a highly researched form of couples counseling that has been proven to have excellent results. I create a supportive environment for exploring communication differences, betrayal, and hurt.
My practice welcomes all who wish to enhance their life through the journey of therapy. My other specialties include: Men's Specific Issues, LGBTQ+ Identity, Young Adult counseling, and creating space to explore one's spirituality.
In our sessions you’ll find me interactive and relaxed. And don’t be surprised if we laugh along the way.
