Candie Simpson, LICSW

As each of us faces the challenges of life, we can sometimes hit road-blocks or barriers. Past challenges, along with our unique personalities and evolving needs can collide with the stresses and circumstances of our current lives. These collisions can feel overwhelming. I use therapy as a tool to help my clients find ways to navigate these difficult waters.

I am Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who serves transition aged youth and adults at different stages of life. Common issues that I help my clients work through include anxiety, depression, stress management, grief and loss, self-esteem, work related stress, issues of life transitions, acute and long-standing trauma, and interpersonal relationship challenges. Depending on each person's unique needs, I integrate skills from various evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Families Systems, Humanistic, and Person-Centered.

I work with adolescents, young adults, as well as adults, and feel it is an honor to be alongside my clients through various life stages. I have been described as warm, collaborative, and empathetic, and my priority is to create a space where my clients can freely show up and express all parts of themselves.

I am deeply committed to social justice and advocacy, and welcome clients from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. Each of us deserve the opportunity to live a fulfilling life that is rooted in self-love and healing. I am dedicated to walking that path alongside my clients.
